Since Friday the Remus is on the way back to Austria, hopefully for exchange… again.
So today I mounted the original stock exhaust to the Lightning and give it a try.
But first the pictures:
This is the first time the original is mounted for use. I bought the XB12 directly mounted with the Remus from my dealer.
I’m curious about the feeling and more about the sound.
Feedback after a short ride:
The look is ok. I don’t expect anything special and unusual from this one. It is just a black box. But the acoustic is the important thing and it is cautious, no rumbling thunder like the Remus but a kind of screaming at 3500rpm and up. I’ll say “interesting”.
Altogether the stock one is transitionally a good one but hopefully not for long.
