Idler Pulley Bolt

After a test fit of the idler pulley I realised a length difference on the bolts. Therefore I reinstalled both of them.

  • Loctite 271 RED

Terms and conditions: All work at own risk, NO warranty in ANY case of damage!

Step 1
After removing the idler pulley (rear wheel removal) you need to counter the two idler pulley nuts with the 9/16 NUT and WRENCH. Then it is easy to unscrew the bolt itself.

Step 2
After cleaning, just apply some Loctite 271 RED on the bolt and reinstalled it as wanted – mine 29mm.

Step 3
Now its time to wait until it is hardened (15-45min). And your done.

Next is sprocket assembly and idler pulley installation. Keep you posted!
